Born on December 8, 1995 in Râmnicu Vâlcea, Andrei Stănculescu has a wide conducting experience, having accomplished a series of musical performances, among which stands out his activity as conductor of the chamber choir "Preludiu - Voicu Enăchescu", guest conductor of the national youth orchestras: Romanian Youth Orchestra & Junior Orchestra, conductor and founder of the Rubato Choir and also guest conductor of philharmonic and theater orchestras in the country, including the Sibiu State Philharmonic, Brasov Philharmonic, "Ion Dumitrescu" Philarmonic Orchestra Rm. Vâlcea, Pitești Philharmonic and Bacău Philharmonic, the National Operas of Iași and Cluj.

Currently, Andrei Stănculescu is a doctoral student at the National University of Music in Bucharest, in the class of Prof. Dan Buciu, as well as an associate professor at the same institution.

With musical studies in Romania and Switzerland, with various participations in master classes in Romania, France, Italy and Switzerland, Andrei Stănculescu is the musician who, always concerned with the composers' true intentions and musical truth, distinguishes, unravels and presents to the musicians in front of him the complex difficulties of a score, going down to the smallest details and the finest features imagined by the creators.

Over the years, he has been working and studying with personalities such as Cristian Mandeal, Cristian Măcelaru, David Crescenzi, Tiberiu Soare, Voicu Enăchescu, Gabriel Popescu, Leo Warynski, Michalis Economou and Francois Xavier-Roth.

Since 2018, he is the conductor of the choir of the St. Joseph Cathedral in Bucharest. He had the honor of conducting the Papal Mass on the occasion of the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to Romania, receiving the decoration of the Archbishop's Cross.

On December 8, 2021, he made his debut on the prestigious podium of the Romanian Athenaeum with the Romanian Youth Orchestra and the Chamber Choir "Preludiu - Voicu Enăchescu", becoming one of the youngest conductors to have appeared on this stage.
